Transforming degraded lands into sustainable ecosystems

Forests, crucial for our planet, face threats such as fires, deforestation and agricultural expansion, which accelerate their degradation. In Vichada, Colombia, desertification is advancing rapidly. In response to this, “Go Zero Go Green” was born, an initiative focused on land reclamation, soil revitalization and reforestation with advanced technologies. Our goal is to transform degraded lands into sustainable ecosystems, recover the natural forest, conserve biodiversity and combat desertification in the region.
Bosques regenerativos

We plant pioneer tree species to regenerate natural forests.

We allow the enrichment of the forest through natural regeneration.

We replace pioneer species with native species in the thinning process.

We produce Biochar from thinning biomass.

We add Biochar and mycorrhizae to improve soil structure and nutrient retention.

We generate biodiversity corridors and the proliferation of pollinators.

We produce microalgae and biofertilizers.

Sustainable and Innovative Process

Conservation Objective:

Protect 15,000 hectares of native forests and reforest 50,000 hectares in Vichada, planting 5,000 hectares annually.

Species:

Use of fast-growing eucalyptus for CO2 capture and forest and soil regeneration, with transition to native species for biodiversity.

Handling:

Implementation of thinning and replacement of non-native species with native species.

Environmental impact:

Reduction of desertification, restoration of soil and forest biodiversity through the creation of new forests and protection of existing ones.

Social Benefits:

Improvement of local living conditions through employment, training and food security.

Agronomic Innovation:

Use of biochar, mycorrhizae, efficient microorganisms and biofertilizers to improve soils and increase biodiversity and the generation of carbon credits.

Scalability:

Potential for expansion and generation of more than 20 million tons of verified carbon credits.
